Embrace is certainly not the oldest company out there, but has become one of the most respected in the time they have been around! The company was started by a couple of graduates from the Wharton MBA program, Laura Bennett and Alex Krooglik, between July of 2003 and August 2004.
One of the points we found in our research which really impressed us was their 9 point ’Customer Bill of Rights’ which helps immensely when the inevitable odd situation or question arises. They empahsize the option to get the CEO of the company involved in order to satisfy their customers! Embrace also gives back to the community of pet care by donating $2 for every policy sold to various pet-related charities. We found quite a few cutomer testimonials that were very complimentary to Embrace! They started offering a ‘wellness plan’ in 2009 that has no deductible, co-pay, or waiting period and is flexible and easy to use.
